Saurabh Gogate
Founder / President
Saurabh is a serial entrepreneur and environmental engineer who has spent his career solving real problems faced in the field. He started out as a sampler and project engineer, logging groundwater wells and managing remediation projects - experiencing firsthand how much time is lost to paperwork, logistics, and equipment delays.
To solve the data problem, he founded QNOPY, now one of the most widely used platforms for environmental field data collection. QNOPY has since expanded to include a Laboratory Data Management module, helping consultants manage both field and lab data in one system.
But the next big challenge became obvious: rental equipment. Field teams were still stuck making phone calls, chasing quotes, and managing spreadsheets just to get the gear they needed.
So he founded Order Penguin, a platform that makes ordering environmental equipment as easy as ordering anything online. No spreadsheets. No back-and-forth emails. Just the right equipment, delivered at the right time.
Alison Jones
CEO
Alison is an environmental engineer with a PhD and over 30 years in the Architecture & Engineering industry. She has managed large portfolios of retail gas stations, led environmental field services, and built high-performing teams delivering complex remediation projects.
At Arcadis, she led digital transformation and global excellence centers streamlining operations, implementing smarter technology, and scaling teams across the world. She also expanded field operations from 250 to 400+ staff while improving delivery, efficiency, and client outcomes.
Alison is known as a straight shooter, someone who cuts through noise, solves the real problem, and gets things done. She brings a no-nonsense leadership style grounded in strategy, field experience, and results.
Emily Dryden
Operations Director
Emily is a Chemical Engineer from Dartmouth and a former Division I basketball player who brings teamwork, discipline, and grit to everything she does. For over five years, she has led operations and customer success at QNOPY, working directly with environmental consultants, project managers, and field teams across the country.
Emily is known for being the person who makes things happen; she ensures projects stay on track, issues get solved quickly, and users always feel supported. Clients love working with her because she understands their work, anticipates challenges, and is relentless about helping them succeed.
At Order Penguin, Emily makes sure users know how to use the platform with confidence and that they get the right equipment, at the right time, without stress or confusion.
She combines technical knowledge with real-world field understanding to build systems that make environmental work smoother, faster, and more reliable.
